Ottawa Art Gallery

The Ottawa Art Gallery is a must-see destination for anyone interested in art connected to Ottawa’s rich heritage. The gallery strives to show “a unique perspective on our place in the world.” This dynamic gallery is currently housed in the courtrooms and jail cells of what was once the Carleton County Courthouse, a heritage building in the heart of downtown. In addition to ever-changing new exhibitions, their permanent collections include contemporary works associated with the Ottawa region, and the Firestone Collection which features over 1,600 works of Canadian art.

Note: Admission to the Gallery is Pay-What-You-Can. A five (5) dollar donation is suggested as we operate as a non profit organization where our activities and programs benefit from generous donations from our guests, members and sponsors.
